Some craic driving down the M9 there. Could barely see the car in front at some stages, such was the torrentiality of the rain.
Driving back by dungourney into castlemartyr was fairly fucking dicey. Dark road and deep puddles.

I wouldnāt say big. Possibly as windy as itās been so far this winter but I wouldnt be overly concerned at the moment.

Reassuring. As in the way we were told the economic foundations were sound 15 years ago.
For Christmas I want to get a rainfall measure for my auld lad. Anybody any ideas on where Iād get a decent one?
We use a wheelbarrow to measure it.
If thereās 2 inches of water in the wheelbarrow that generally means theres been 1 inch of rain.

You can get electronic ones too.
Or the MET Eireann website will tell you. Only at certain local stations obviously.

I think you are over egging things. Itās a bit breezy. It shouldnt be nearly strong enough to knock trees.
