Some morning. Off to the beach shortly before the heat kicks in

Getting chilly now as we approach the big smoke. 8-10 degrees difference between here and Luimneach.

There’s something very strange going on.

Was warm in the Dublin yesterday but by time i got to beach in Magheramore in Wicklow there was a sharp enough breeze .

If Roger Casement had landed at Banna strand this morning he would have struggled to find parking

I played golf at 8…was fine until about 10.30 and melted after that … places are as hard as the road at this stage

Half of Limerick were in Ballybunion today. Green jerseys everywhere. Brought their hurleys too which attracted curious inquisitive glances from the locals.
Place was hopping.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Mostly dry with clear spells. Cloud will thicken in the south and southwest overnight, with patchy light rain or drizzle possible in the southwest by morning. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 14 degrees in a light to moderate easterly breeze.

FRIDAY: Most places will see another dry and sunny day on Friday. It will turn cloudier at times and showers are possible in the southwest. Highest temperatures of 17 to 25 degrees, warmest in the west, with a light to moderate easterly wind continuing.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Mostly dry with clear spells. Becoming cloudy in the south and southwest with rain or showers developing later. Lowest temperatures of 10 to 15 degrees with a light easterly wind.

SATURDAY: Cloud and showery rain is likely to extend northwards over the country on Saturday. Highest temperatures of 17 to 22 degrees with a light to moderate east to southeast wind.

FURTHER OUTLOOK: Staying warm with showers at times. Maximum temperatures generally in the low twenties.
