🌬 The Weather Thread part 2

Going to be the mother of all storms on Monday evening.

Only an orange warning so far, although there’s a spring tide so we’ll probably get a good lashing here

Amazing how the wind will funnel around county lines

Bad break for that bit of Leitrim

Monday morning.
It will be pretty rough but reasonably short lived.

Unlikely to affect the Monday club.

Mad how the orange warning covers south Leitrim and not North Roscommon

Good quip mate

A ‘weather bomb’ is an unofficial term for a low pressure system whose central pressure falls 24 millibars in 24 hours in a process known as explosive cyclogenesis. #StormBrendan is forecast to fall from 988 to 940 in 24 hours, that’s double that! https://t.co/XvU2JPCubS

in terms of cycling on Monday at 7.00 am and 17.30 p,m. , will it be safe in Dublin?

No. Every cunt driving a car will be trying to hit you

Same as every other day then

Should be fine, albeit a reasonably strong southerly breeze. The worst of what Dublin gets will be around midday

Should I take a very early lunch before 12pm or quite a late one?

A lot of weather out there today.

Has anyone gone around Galway and individually warned all the simpletons it might not be a good idea to park beside the sea during a storm?

Any risk of flight landing late tomorrow night at Shannon being delayed or diverted?
