I lost a car to a flood there once. Photo of it ended up on the front of the connacht tribune.
Getting on a (delayed) flight here in Birmingham. How unpleasant is my flight/landing likely to be?
I’d say your landing will be quick. Really quick.
And probably upside down.
Smashing night for lamping rabbits.
Birmingham is a great airport in terms of ease of access but it is not a place that I would like to have to spend a lot of time in their departure lounge as there is fuck all in it
It will be dark so not to worry. If it was bright out, i’d be shitting it though.
Just boarded the plane. Just walking 10 metres across the apron was hairy enough. Not really looking forward to this to be honest …
Pretty wet in Stoke at the moment.
Some nervous moments earlier before Captain David Moriarty landed safely at Dublin Airport. He had to work hard to keep the bastard under control and we bombed down the runway swaying from side to side.
Just landed. A very hairy descent was finished with a textbook gentle landing. Captain Aidan inspired confidence from an early stage assuring us that the weather was easing and he would have to leave the seatbelt lights on for the duration as there might be some “unexpected bumps”. This message was reinforced by the relaxed cabin crew. The old lady in the row ahead was saying her novenas as we corkscrewed our way down towards Dublin but I was confident that Captain Aidan was a safe pair of hands. He was. Aer Lingus are a national treasure.
Haha. You peasants. The eurojet lounge in brum is where it is at. Pool tables. Free drink and laptops.
