The view in South Dublin

@Chucks_Nwoko @Loko_Cove how are you surviving this heat chaps?

I wouldn’t say it’s unbearable just yet. The water is noticeably warmer than it has been on previous October 5ths, I’ll say that much. It all points to a long hot summer. Just make sure to check the shitter for snakes before you sit down @fitzy, they’ve been known to head for the sewer pits to escape the heat

With the El Nino kicking in, it will be a very long hot summer. Water was lovely yesterday at Shelly Beach. It’s when the nights are hitting 30 degrees is when it will be uncomfortable. But hitting 40 in October is worrying to say the least.

Put in a very bad day on Sunday after over indulgence at Royal Randwick on Saturday. 34 degrees and hangovers are a bad combination.

Go for a swim mate, getting tossed around the surf at Bronte kills hangovers very quickly.

I suppose this lad had the same idea…

What a country!

I knew a lad, lived out in Wagga Wagga. The snake crawled up inside him without him noticing a thing. Laid eggs and died, none the wiser the poor fella. 2 month later, little snakes start shnakin’ out his ears. He checks the toilet first now.

Cool story bro. Couldn’t be true though. There’s hardly a place called Wagga Wagga.

Very muggy in Dublin this morning. Sweat pissing out of me after my early morning gym session.

I’m not from Gorey mate.

whatever

Apology accepted

I’m sorry mate, I don’t believe a word of that.

Spike Milligan used to live in Woy Woy (very close to where I live). People refer to Wagga Wagga as Wagga and Woy Woy as Woy Woy. Spike used to be very concerned at this, wondered why people didn’t just call it Woy, as they shorten Wagga Wagga to the one Wagga.

Wow

No, Woy.

Hodgson?
