It will be a tuff cycle in the morning. Stay safe lads
So another day off for teachers?
That’s the word on the street alright
They should be made report to work and tidy the school or something.
It’s a ridiculous waste of tax payers money.
But but… it’s dangerous to go to school clearly, you don’t want our educators to get injured or whatever??
They’re adults.
They have a job.
I don’t see any other workers getting a day off, why are teachers special?
You’d make a great teacher mate, I say go for it
Lots of people getting tomorrow off. My sister works in Shannon and she’s been told not to come in tomorrow to the multinational company she works for.
My wife is awaiting a call in the morning from her company in Limerick city.
Glad to say I’ll be putting down a full days work
Will be on the road early tomorrow and try and get home early. To anyone driving like myself , stay safe. Get out early. Get home early.
Conscientious civil servants like myself, @glasagusban and @Brimmer_Bradley will put our lives on the line to ensure that citizens still get their services.
Going to take the hound for a walk. Then up to Number 21 for beers. Then lockdown mode.
Stay safe SCRers @Aristotle @backinatracksuit
christ almighty, is this for real? the fucking micks losing their shit over a bit of a storm, its thew same craic when there’s a bit of snow in Oireland, the place goes into meltdown
Kilmallock mart is closed tomorrow. Have to drive up to Dubbalin tomorrow around midday that’s a balls.
Whole place is on lockdown mate. The micks were clearing the shelves in Lidl thinking the apocalypse was coming. The central and Eastern Europeans were laughing at them getting worked up over wind
Nationwide red alert
Been mugged off good and proper.
Had tomorrow booked off work months ago. Group text from the gaffer tonight - “don’t bother coming in tomorrow if weather conditions are dangerous etc”.
Will be a skeleton crew in.
What’s the window for this storm lads? I might go in the morning and fuck off before the worst of it hits
Supposedly 9am to 3am Tuesday morning.
