Fairly deep snow in South Fingal today. I’d say it’s two inches on the ground in most places around my gaff.
I was out and about briefly earlier and the underfoot conditions are treacherous in my part of Dublin. I had planned to stroll into town to pick up some supplies but I don’t want to risk a fall and injury that would obviously jeopardise TFK’s hopes of winning a 4th league title in succession.
Have you purchased a coat yet Bandage? I don’t want you catching influenza either.
Its fucking freezing in Cork, a couple of pints of guinness and a hot whiskey await me for an after noon of sport. But we have escaped any snow. Again, Cork looks beautiful today.
That sounds sweet.
Unfortunately not. That was on my agenda today.
Two and a half hour drive up from Wexford due to the snow. Some of views are absolutely spectacular - just a pity that so many people choose to drive at 10km an hour on a perfectly fine road. There was a good 5 or 6 inches of snow down around Enniscorthy this morning.
Snowing presently here up north
Just in the door after a tough drive, the roads are lethal out there especially around the Castleisland area.
Castleisland is a shit hole.
It’s very eerie outside. A heavy freezing fog moving in.
I’d advise anybody thinking of utilising take-away delivery services to do so immediately as worsening weather conditions around the country may restrict delivery in certain areas.
That’s smart thinking and the sort of forward planning that will get our country out of its current economic mire.
Its a dive, the bypass was like an ice rink today.
Way ahead of you mate, just got my chinese delivered before 7.00pm. It was noble.
Where in the North is larryduff based?
It’s just a pity that some of us have never experienced the joy of ordering a take away over the phone.
No snow around here but fuck me it’s cold but the roads are dry
Fine and crisp out there…
I double rugged the horses there the other day, they’re fair glad of it now. Not a puff of breeze out there now, should be a hard frost there in the morning.
I hope the dogs won’t be too uncomfortable out there…
