Right. Season 5, here we go.

I liked it first time round. Clearly not as much as the other ones.

Lovely little cameo from Nick Sobotka in S5. Forgot about that

Clay on the stand in season 5 is a tour de France :rofl::rofl:

What a showman

The FBIā€™s profile of the ā€˜serial killerā€™ :see_no_evil::see_no_evil::see_no_evil:

I watched the same episode this evening. Tremendous. What was the story with the wrong name tag on Omarā€™s body bag right at the end?

Think it was just for a bit of craic/ to show a bit of incompetence

Yeah. I thought Iā€™d miss something. Series 5 is way better than I expected . Itā€™s gets a lot of grief on this thread but Iā€™m enjoying it as much as any of the previous 4

Itā€™s the weakest but itā€™s still better than most TV.

One episode to go. Think Iā€™ll save it for another night.

Gus was a great character in season 5. He had that bollix Scott Templeton sussed out early. Itā€™s gas the lad that played Templeton wrote and directed that film Spotlight. And won an Oscar too for writing it. He also wrote Up (the Pixar film) and loads of other things

Lester with Clay Davis in the bar great scene. Clay: ā€œyou could at least buy a roundā€ :rofl:

The redemption of Bubbles is the highlight of 5.

She didnā€™t give a shit about him, certainly not when he wasnā€™t a useful junkie. She really slides into the same depths as McNulty in abandoning relationships because of the job.

Coming towards the end of season 5 here.

This serial killer plot is garbage. McNulty is after driving some homeless fella to Virginia as part of the scam.

It was some of the worst TV ever made.
