There may be departments but its all open plan. The virus wont think to itself ah that lad works in procurement or accounts receivable, he is off limits. There are a lot of multinationals there that have no access to cars so Apple run busses for employees as well. I would say they will close the facility and operate a work from home and self isolation plan.
While employee welfare is an obvious problem, the big issue here is what message this will send to the markets. Hopefully the state front up to protect Apple’s share price. Shit’s got real.
