Congestion charges between the canals in dublin. No one in dublin should have a car after the metro is built

For this you need top class public transport, which we are not even close to.
I can drive to work via motorway in 10 minutes… I’d have to get 2 buses taking me 1 hour 10 if i was to use public transport.
Then there’s the problem of housing so people have to live further away from their job adding 2 hours if they were to use public transport.
We are a long way from a car free utopia
