An electric car plugged into one of those installations the ESB put up across the country years ago. This one in Dunmore East has lain idle for 5 years until last night.

Good point… I’ve never seen the one in Woodquay Galway in use.
Linda Martin in person (it’s hard to say “in the flesh” as that’s dubious) but see her I did last night. I was at a wedding in the Seven Oaks hotel in Carlow and enjoying a few socials out in the foyer around 2.30am when she strode in. If there was ever a TV ad for Tec7 (beige) she’d be in it…
Did you like Carlow boxty?
A grand town Fagan, they had a kind of local Fleadh Ceoil there for the weekend that suited me grand, myself and another oul’ trooper do a bit of an act (music and story-telling) and all this married into the occasion.
We went down Friday, saw the scene and hooked in.
We were booked for the wedding affair from way back, but the weekend itself opened up new horizons. We got
5/6 bookings for weddings, mostly from the Cork/Kerry area, one of them Christmas week, but what do you do.
Dublin bay at its finest.
I took a cruise today from outside the Ferryman pub on the quays to howth harbour. Savage views of the poolbeg towers, dublin bay and all of howth as we went around. Weather was great and the sea was calm. Only thing missing was a seal in howth harbour.
