Things I learned today (Part 1)
Something further to what has already happened, been happening. How hard is that to understand? The barrier reef has been destroyed for years, this is another nail in the coffin.

Your posts sum you up nicely Mac in this topic, seeing things in black and white, needing to pick a side, needing to have an answer, basing retorts on who the poster is and not what they say.
Yes, I’m nailing my colours to the mast nice and early on this in depth discussion we’ve had. After much debate I had to choose a side.

That’s why you are a fool.

Epsom Downs is inside the M25. I had an image of rolling countryside on the south coast

One of the Shankill Butchers, Robert Basher Bates, subsequently befriended IRA member Brendan Hughes and foiled an assassination attempt on Hughes’ life by Loyalists.

Bates was one of the last cunts to be taken out by the provos before the 94 ceasefire.

Was he not killed by the son of a Loyalist which he had already killed?

Lenny Murphy killed four people in the four months between his release from jail and killing by the IRA.

Ah but poor Lenny had an awful time of it growing up, his name being Murphy and that. Must of been terrible for him. It’s understandable the way he turned out really when you think about it.

Lenny was protected farmer.

The Watertower there at Piltown was actually built as a memorial to the second son of the Earl of Bessborough who was believed to have been killed in the Napoleonic Wars.
Two stories of it were built when the reprobate arrived home after a couple of years debauching on the continent and the work stopped never to be finished. It was then converted into a Watertower.

Gabby Logan represented Leeds in the 1991 Rose of Tralee.

What’s her Irish connection?

I don’t know.
