Pullman is another level, I wouldn’t even class his books as children’s though. The newish prequel to the dark materials series is also beautiful.

I never came across it as a child but loved Where the Wild Things Are when I read it.

Actor Donald Glover releases music under the name Childish Gambino.

While I’ve heard of CG, I can’t say I’ve ever heard a bit of his stuff. Would he be big with the white rappers? I believe Donald isn’t viewed kindly in the black community, with references to “house nigger” being made about him.
