Things I learned today (Part 1)

Not everyone puts butter on digestive biscuits.

Marietta biscuits are for butterin

UTC remains constant the entire year. In the European winter they are one and the same, but when the clocks change in spring then UTC is different to the standard time in Britain or Ireland. Depends on whether you mean GMT to be Irish Summer Time or UTC.

Marietta biscuits are for peasants.

My back is properly fucked

i learned he finds mine interesting and that they help fungal raving.

TAN has called him out on this. Mac is a spoofer.

What’s wrong with your back Farmer, other than it being properly fucked?

A long standing problem Rocko. It’s related to my hip/back. When I bend over it is very stiff but when I go to straighten up it is really sore. When playing ball I could be grand for a half hour then all of a sudden I feel a dart of a pain and my back seizes up. I was trying to play my trademark raking balls out of defence and could barely make 10 yards such was the pain when I hit it.

It doesn’t bother me all the time but when it does, it does.

Surely the manager should have been aware of his already :o

Complaining works.
Sneaky upc attempted to impose a price rise of 6€ on our account on top of their previous rise. This would have brought the total increase to over 25% in just over a year. I rang, had a nice chat with Patricia and she dropped the bill to below the original price for the next 12 months as a “loyalty bonus” thus saving us around 180€ a year. She also told me to ring again next year and try again. These cunts are milking as much as they can but will fold if you kick up a fuss.

Sky are the same. I rang them and said we were switching to UPC and how much notice did I need to give them. They asked why I was moving and I said they were too dear(think it was around €70 per month at the time) and they knocked €25 a month off the bill for 12 months.

In the event of a superstorm(the like of which might trigger a new ice age) your best bet is to hook up with a foxy chick, go needlessly swimming in freezing water, get naked and have her try to warm you with her bodyheat.

Marietta biscuits are the poor mans Rich Tea’s…In fact Marietta biscuits, now that we’ve moved on, are shit.
Digestives are for butter only, spreadables don’t count.
