Things I learned today (Part 1)

Denis Oā€™Brien is worth $6 billion.

Once he gets his hands on Boards.ie heā€™ll control the entire Irish media.

I read it now. Cheltenham has a continuous upward slope on the finish of 13m over 540m distance. Leopardstown has 9m over 440m.

I walked the track the year before last one morning, a nice stroll.

Which is why I get all of my news and opinions from TFK.

ā€œYe can have Kevin Boland but ye canā€™t have The Free Kickā€

Just Boland.

No Kevin.

Just Boland.

No offence farmer, but I knew that. I just put in the Kevin for context. If you are going to be that picky you may as well point out that it was Fianna FƔil not TFK.

What context did including Kevin add?

I would say most people would be aware who Boland was.

Tubridy has two children.

He lost the baby weight very quick it was an easy mistake to make

Each Irish taxpayer pays ā‚¬3,313 per year towards the cost of alcohol abuse to the exchequer.

When moving into a new house, check whether it is in the regular flight path of a flock of overfed wild ducks. If so, washing up liquid is good and the quicker the better.

Today is not a good day for me, for today I found out I wasmad,
as I have discovered this in the last 45 minutes my madness is
still new, fresh in my mind so to say, so I can understand it
more. It has come to my attention that over the past year and a
half I have acquired a condition known as acute paranoid
schizophrenia in relation to everyone and everything I did. It
gradually worsened through the year to this point of realisation
that I have a twin mind.

It has been a ā€œfowlā€ experience alright.

I know the feeling mate, in fact myself and Manuel Zelaya have just been diagnosed with the same thing in the last 45 minutes.

The one good thing about schizophrenia is that thereā€™s always somebody else there to share your problem - you are never alone. A problem shared is a problem halved and all that.

I learned that regardless of what I know or donā€™t know, Kev would argue with me over the time of day. Funny in a sad kind of way.

Come on, pal. Donā€™t start your week sulking.
