Young lady has been suffering from a suspected (subsequently confirmed) sinus infection for a couple of days.
Took her to the doctor this morning and when I went to pay afterwards I was surprised to be told that I didnāt have to and that it was covered by the HSE because it was a respiratory illness.

I very briefly dated a woman from there years ago, back when I was in college years. I knew nothing of Bandon at the time and thought it was strange that her family were into cricket, until I figured it all out one day.
Conversely, the only person I know well from Bandon has hurled senior for Cork, though golf was his first sport
He has. But he still brings them to the doctor with minor ailments and pays their bills as well.
