Things I learned today (Part 1)

The town time forgot. Whole place needs a power wash, or a flame thrower.

A 1.3m Cape Cobra snake is no match for a Jack Russell.

Pulling @Bisto up on something he said is pathetic and such a person should get a life.

David Trezeguet plays for Newells Old Boys in Argentina.

He actually grew up in Buenos Aires, his father played football there.

Is it not River Plate that he plays for?

Gonzalo Higuain is the opposite, he was born in France and plays for Argentina. Think his auld lad was professional footballer in France at the time of his birth

Old boys now I think.

Trezequet is Argentine. Listen to him speak French, it’s heavily accented. He only learned to speak French when he started playing for Monaco. He probably speaks better Italian than French.
His Spanish on the other hand is very natural, and very Argentinian. He qualified for France because his Dad was playing in France when he was born.

if you are in Australia the next few weeks dont eat the brazil burger from Mackers,it repeats on you

Gary Breen has more World Cup goals than Wayne Rooney.

So does Emile Heskey.

Yes but Emile Heskey was, for want of a better word, a striker.

So does Rio Ferdinand.

I thought you were home?

I am, someone told me this info

Beer is an isotonic drink.

The best thing you can drink after a game or cardio session.

Woohoo,

wait a minute would that be delicious craft beer or the mass produced tasteless pop?

Something you can glug down quickly. Not a delicious craft beer. That should be savoured.[/QUOTE]
