Most own brand stuff is made by the big suppliers-washing powder, washing-up liquid, breakfast cereals, pasta, etc. Apart from the likes of Kelloggs who marketed that they were “not making cereals for anyone else” although I’m not sure if that’s still the case. It is often a slightly inferior product but not hugely so.
Kelloggs and p&g don’t do own label manufacturing.
