“True” by Spandau Ballet was written by Gary Kemp about his infatuation with the totally awesome Clare Grogan of Altered Images. Grogan is apparently quite embarrassed about this.

I found this out last night when I went down an internet rabbit hole about Grogan after watching her play the Sinead O’Connor parody character Niamh Connolly in that episode of Father Ted.

There are no rivers in Denmark either. There are waterways, but nothing that is technically a river. The country is too flat.

That’s surprising. I presume they did have rivers at one point. Isn’t Saudis Arabia fairly rugged compared to the likes of Dubai?
