I played SHL in Dublin on a Sunday morning. Then went to Croke Park with a taxi driver called Spud in the afternoon and had a feed of pints with him. I then went on to Na Fianna and played a Millar Shield match (junior hurling). I could barely stand up by this stage and I was roundly abused from the sideline by the selfsame Spud.
Sign spud up
I had 3 fights in the Connacht Championship one Sunday back in the day winning all 3 but I donāt like to go on about it.

There is an England international footballer called Taylor Harford-Bellis who is apparently married to Roy Keaneās daughter.

And what took you so long to tell us?
There are only 13 hours and 38 minutes left today. This thread is about telling people what you have learned TODAY. You have to get in quick, otherwise youāll forget all about it and then youāll remember next week that you learned of a personās existence on a particular day but you forgot to tell people about it, and the moment is gone forever. You can never get it back. These are the regrets you donāt want to experience in life.
MOTD was on ITV at one time
Des Lynam worked for ITV

I remember ITV having The Big Match on a Sunday with Elton Welsby and Saint & Greavsie of a Saturday lunchtime.I donāt ever recall MOTD being on there
I think they had a Monday night show presented by Matt smith? There was no weekly bbc motd when I first became a footix im almost sure. Only for fa cup weekends. Started back with the premier league in 92. Itv had the live matches and possibly no Saturday highlights show?
Thereās always been a MOTD as far as I can recall
