“Last year 9,068 people died by euthanasia, up from 8,720 in 2022, accounting for more than 5 per cent of the total number of deaths in the Netherlands. In almost all cases, euthanasia is by lethal injection admitted by a doctor. Adjusted for relative population size, that would be 34,277 Britons euthanised annually, if Britain had the same legislation.”

Was out canvassing the latter three on Wednesday. I have to say now, I’m always very impressed with how clean and well kept they are. The little murals on the wall towards the end of Barrack St, very nice.
