Was doing a bit of business with a lad recently and the fucker went bust. He handed me this piece of shit business as a way of not leaving me empty handed, I didnt patricularly want it or have any means to research it or run it but I figured shur what harm, I wasn’t into him in any big way so I’d take it as I wasnt getting anymore out of him.

Problem was the business was in another province so when I eventually did get to inspect the goods it turns out that they’re worthless, run down, a client list thats all gone bust also and software and machinery that is all but obsolete. All in all it was nothing more than a money pit.

Well I’d been lumbered with it and was considering setting it alight in the hope of getting something from the insurance until an accountant mate of mine said he knew this idiot who waa always coming up with cracked ideas to get rich quick (the latest one we both got a good laugh out of was something about a rural bus service to and from the pubs, oh how we laughed) and that for a cut he’d mention it to him and see if he bit.

My mate just rang me there to say yer man is taking it all in without salt, and hasnt gotten off his phone all morning texting his mates about what a deal he is getting on this flyer printing business. There’s one born every day it seems.

The atmosphere at the FC United v Rochdale FA Cup first round proper game on ESPN now. The other United 1-0 up and fans have been doing some singing throughout as an away team. Sounds like they sing loads of well known United songs and a few anti Glazer etc ones thrown in. Heard them singing a version of the Celtic this land is my land one too.
Great scenes when the goal went in goalie running over to hug some big fat pitch invader. Don’t know much about the whole situation to be honest but would be some story if they won this game and one more and drew Fergie and the Glazers in the third round!

Normally I would agree that a pub in a Dart station couldn’t be good but I like O’Reillys. Always a decent old buzz in there. Larryduff was there as well actually.
