The snow brought a lovely community spirit on the Luas Red line as people helped each other on and off, offered up seats and were genuinely nice to each other. It was heartwarming really.
Pretty sure the Dart serves Malahide and Portmarnock areas-he’ll be grand.

I’ve never seen the golden globes but I thought that was pretty good from gervais. I can see how the americans wouldn’t get it but it’s a lot better than the mild shit that normally passes for ‘edgy’.

Ricky Gervais was the main reason a lot of people watched the show I believe. The ratings were the best non sporting event that Nbc had since last years globes. Im sure he will be back next year.

Where did you read that Shan? I read ratings barely rose and that the HFPA President said that Gervais crossed a line. Its not like they wouldnt be self involved cunts anyway, and having watched the show I would have to say I didnt think his bits were too bad, but I just dislike the cunt intensely. The Carrell bit was the highlight of the show, the Hugh Hefner and Berk bits was plainly unfunny.
