Walking through Donnybrook when one of those annoying gimps from a charity is gearing up to send some of their special brand of phony positivity my way while trying to steal my money.
I’m all ready to laugh in their face and give them my usual “know your audience” line as I’m looking a tad hobo-tastic these days [hair is long and disorganised, haven’t shaved in something nearing 2 weeks] so being intimidating is a little easier than usual, when an old man throws the mother and father of what I have decided to coin “charity block” for me by coming from the other direction and distracting said charity gimp.
The old man was trying to give them a euro coin but the girl had to explain that they’d rather have your bank details.
In the meantime I walk by laughing to myself. Deadly.
I was toying with staring a “You know it’s going to be your day when…” thread but said the broader home of “Things that are right” would do just fine.

Why would you be advertising supervalue, surely they will put you out of a summer job of sitting in a little greyhoiund box on the side of the main road for twelve hours a day

Getting something fixed that would otherwise have meant you having to work until 7 or 8 on the Friday night of the Bank Holiday weekend.
