It probably took him a few years to decide that she was the “one”. Can’t be going having children with just any old 11 year old you pick up at a bus stop.

There’s a housing estate in Castlebridge, just outside Wexford town, called ‘The Cloisters’. Unknown vandals have remove the ‘o’, ‘s’, ‘e’, ‘r’ and second ‘s’ from ‘Cloisters’ on the estate entrance sign.

I was nearly getting the pen and paper out to work that out.

I am so brain dead at the moment.

I didn’t rate that show as highly as others when I first saw it but I think it is utterly brilliant now after repeating views.

In fairness to the US version it is not bad and there are many more episodes of it than the UK one.

The american one is far too much of a sitcom though. The realism of the english one is what made it different. It’s a good sitcom but a sitcom nonetheless.
