How do you know about them?
They charge 50c in house, 2.50 take away here. As you can imagine with the hipster show-off society here cafe’s make a killing here off them. It’s stone mad.
Hot milk with a bit of frothed / steamed milk at the top, served in an espresso type cup. Milano have had them on their menu for years in Ireland but there’s been a surge in them recently from the hipster brigade.

Is that one of those sensor things to check the baby is still breathing? Ah come on. Turn that shit off. I stopped using a monitor at all at about 6 ot 7 months. No need for those breathing ones at all.
Why would it? You are making no sense and trying to get one back for embarrassing yourself this morning while jumping the gun. Even your best mate didn’t back you.
Well my woman has no choice, and I suppose the mother looks at it from the business/greed side of things. My women thinks it’s ridiculous, but it’s not her choice. She’s had them sent back and all sorts. Basically here it’s hot milk with a marshmallow on top. Apparently though one reason they started charging back along was students coming in ordering them.
Fair enough. Shocking though. I reckon they’ll be banned here with the moves to prevent childhood obesity.
It definitely something that Fianna Fáil and Labour would try to push but Fine Gael are too fond of the café culture so they might find that is doesn’t resonate with their core voters.
What kind of a fucking mug buys this shit for their kids? I see a lot of it popping up on my social media feeds from girls who recently had kids and now consider themselves to be a ‘yummy mummy’. They’re not.
In your point though, I it was me, or the good lady (and she intends owning a cafe in Eire, so ye can all bring your little shits along) we would give them for free. FFS it only take a couple of seconds, there is always warm milk around, pop in the marshmallow and get the good will of your customers.
Depending on footfall and other factors, I’d nearly leave the students have them too. I mean they are bound to bring someone with them eventually. It’s not an outlay. A little bit of time, but fuck all in greater scheme if things.

Baby chino’s are near the bottom of the list when it comes to obesity.
Juices should be first dumped, nearly all of them. And smoothies. There is very little in those juice bars that are not only not that good for you, but are downright bad for you.

Never heard of it, just googled it there and unless your kid has had respiratory problems before I would think it’s not required at this stage.

I saw them being given out in a cafe one time and thought the kids were drinking coffee. My lady friend explained it was just hot and frothy milk with a shake of cocoa over the top so it looks like a cappuccino for the kids, they were given out free for mothers or whoever with small children.
If you are drinking any significant amount of calories on a weekly basis (soft drinks, booze, smoothies, juices, frappucinos) you are going to struggle not to put on weight
Other main issue is portion sizes being too big - especially for kids.
