Quite the shift there. It was “not a single trained economist” now it’s “not a single person with a PhD in economics.” The value of a PhD in economics in the Dept of Finance would be questionable to be honest. Effectively you’re talking about someone who has devoted a few years to academic study. That’s not really the type of person the Dept of Finance should be chasing. There’s nothing to suggest an academic would be any better at managing the economy than an economist with real world experience.
There is a shortage of economists with international finance experience possibly but a) those guys don’t come cheap and B) those guys haven’t covered themselves in glory recently.
I’m all for changes in the Dept but this talk of a lack of economists is a media myth as far as I’m concerned.

Some Fat ugly bint in the shop this morning buying 3 breakfast rolls, which in itself is wrong because the fat bint should have been on a diet but the other 2 rolls were for the 3 and 4 year old in the back of the car. 
She should be arrested for cruelty to children feeding them breakfast rolls at time in the morning, can see it in a few years she will be on one of the phone shows crying about how are kids are being bullied in school for being fat? Oh yeah she was also wearing a vest top that did absolutely nothing for her nor anything for me at that time in the morning.
What time of the day do you like to see a fat ugly bint in a vest top?

Well no time of the day is good to see one of them but I think first thing in the morning has to be the worst time to see them even if it is by accident when you are in the local spar getting a drink and self inflicted after a night in coppers. 
I think as the day goes on you can handle seeing them.
