The double murder in Limerick over a few hundred euro and an affair. Life is so cheap. I grew up 5 doors down from one of the murderers, Stewart. He was always hyper as a kid but a fucking murderer!! It’s fucked up the road some people decide to take.

His next door neighbour, and my best friend when kids, is on the run in France, while another on the road did a bit of time also for breaking up a hotel and attacking some guests.

Thankfully I found TFK and somewhere I could vent or I could have been Ireland’s most feared serial rapist.

Ios6 is wrong. It has totally destroyed an old iPhone 3GS that I had developed a symbiotic relationship with over the years. I am fucking disgusted with Apple over this.

Ya, it’s shit. The phone is way more buggy since I upgraded it.
I believe the Vice President of iOS parted ways with Apple over the weekend, apparently over his refusal to issue an apology over the problems that have been encountered with iOS 6.

Yes I’m seething with Apple. I’ve been an enthusiastic user of Apple products since 1983, but this is the limit and I will be going over to Google as well

I am still very much in love with my iPad though and thankfully I refrained from putting ios6 on that.

Apple’s share price has tanked quite a bit as well of late
we do a lot of work with samsung and i believe that their next generartion of tablets with windows 8 are going to put a seriosu squeeze on apple

i bought ( well got for next to nothing from work) one of those Motorola RAZR smartphones that Intel are trying to use as their foothold into that market… not a patch on the iphone however

Ya he was the lead guy Maps I think, the head of retail has also got the bullet so looks like a bit of internal warfare going on.
I think Apple will end up regretting their locked down “eco system” and desire to milk users for every penny, they launched a new range of Macbooks last week, with the cheapest version starting at a ridiculous €1,500.

Apples saving grace at the moment is the fact they have managed to get their devices into the hands of top business men and executives who don’t know any better. I’ve had a good few people come to me looking to buy Macbooks because “it would work well with their iphone”, these same people would struggle to open an email yet feel the need to fork €2k on laptop. I know one guy who spent €2,000 on a MacBook that he uses for literally nothing else but to sync his phone.

Intel are sweating at moment big time with regard to this, they have their new 22nm processor inside in these ultrabooks that were meant to take on the macbook air, etc but the problem is your avergae user dosent give a fook about a 22nm processor , he just sees it as an expensive laptop, Intel not getting into the phone market and mobile market in general on time is what is killing them right now, they are up to some stuff with lenovo that will see an all in one laptop come touch pad device but to be honest it sounds like another google TV style gimmick…
