Things That Are Wrong
Did John Clarke quit live on air recently?
The ditched the drivetime slot presenters because they didn’t appeal enough to the Dublin audience (Hector in the morning and Limerick man Will Leahy in the evenings).
Yes, there was a soundcloud clip doing the rounds of twitter. He went out like a class act

If that guy is John Clarke, who’s the really ugly fella who presents late night music shows on RTE?

John Kelly.

His show is moving to a prime time slot at 8.30pm on a Friday.

The Wright Venue

Tonight they have Vogue “jetting” in and champagne and strawberries on arrival

It is in an industrial estate in Finglas.

Can’t see that working. RTE will probably force him to bring in that uber cunt Gordon Hayden from TV3 to review blockbuster movies. In fact he’s getting added to the COTY thread.

Eh its in a retail park in Swords not Finglas. Just thought I would correct ya on that incase any of the good folk go looking for a nightclub in some industrial estate in Finglas and end up at Dunsink Lane.

Who the fuck is Vogue?

They sang Hold On, a classic R n B track from the 90’s.

The way people use an email address supplied by their ISP for work (or anything) annoys the shit out of me.

You see this most with tradesmen. A guy with a fancy van and a logo and even a website amd domain name and his email address ends with @eircom.net or something forgettable and temporary like that. This is very annoying.

Why, mate?

Because it’s sloppy and not forward thinking and beholden to shit companies like eircom. I just don’t like to see it, that’s all.

It’s terrible, in particular eircom.net addresses as more often than not any decent spam filter will file mails from those addresses as spam.

You can register a .com & hosting package for about €60 a year.

Not to mention dreadful marketing.

Young men with beards must be the dopiest bastards going. Men under 55 with a beard are not to be taken seriously, unless they have facial scarring which needs covering up. In that case they should wear a sign around their neck informing unsuspecting members of the public about the scarring being the reason they have a beard.

I have one. The 1980’s look is in peter

Don’t mind Pete, he’s insecure and just blowing off a bit of steam.

Halfway to sheffield to hear the games is off.

Skinny jeans and a beard.:smiley:

And a check shirt with the top button buttoned. Its all the rage here
