I was cycling to work yesterday morning down the lane at the side of the metro, when I encountered a group of people looking at a cat stuck in the tracks. I waited til the tram had passed and hopped over the fence and lifted it to the path only to discover the poor little fucker had had its hind quarters chopped off, presumable having been hit earlier by a tram. I got such a shock I dropped the misfortunate creature. Couldn’t locate the RSPCA or the vet, but eventually managed to get him taken to the vet, presumably to be put down. It fairly sickened me. It’s mewling was pitiful. Friday 13th for that little fucker anyway.
