That was probably it. That cunt has ruined the word blunt for me

She also seems absolutely lovely. Krasinski did good.

What?

I’d be a fan of throwing James Blunts together.

His new song is decent. Powerful enough actually.

Closest you can get to understanding the effects of autism- not sure what exactly happened or what to feel about it but left uncomfortable anyway

The one with his dad?

We are of a certain age my friend

I rang an aunt of mine there a short while ago, she’s 96 and lives alone in Longford. I’ve a few pals in the town who’d give her a dig-out, but, as I assumed, her daughters have the bases covered. The Micra failed the latest NCT so she’s temporarily grounded but I feel the cousins are deferring the retest.
In any event she’s the full solid finest, more concerned about me than I merit.

“Boxty, to tell you the truth I’ve poured a large Jameson, turned on a Willie Nelson CD and am sitting in the sitting room looking out at a flock of starlings. What, apart from dropping dead here, alone, could be wrong”…

In keeping with the country theme she’ll be “back on the road again”…

I love you @anon67715551

Sign her up to TFK

They say as you get older you get more right wing. She’s love it on here.

Currently on Netfilx.

By way of a follow up to my phone call with my aunt yesterday a mini-Boxty wrote her a lovely letter today enquiring after her well being and outlining how he’s coping in these straightened times. I was particularly touched by the little insert of “I’m nearly 8” as he outlined his school activities.
I thought it was a smashing gesture, one that no doubt will bring economic rewards but I’d imagine it will give her a good old laugh and a right shot in the arm.
I’d post it here but it contains data concerning his Grandad and that would be off kilter.

The concluding line tore the arse out of it somewhat…
“What was London like, it doesn’t matter if you don’t remember”

I gave my aunt a call over the weekend. She’s a widower, with no kids, but only in her early - mid 70s. She’s in a fine big old house, but it’s somewhat remote. She was in grand form, and was keeping herself grand and busy. Told me she’d cleaned the two cookers that day and powerwashed the yard, and had a heap of jobs lined up to keep her tipping away.

That’s @KinvarasPassion level of carry-on, smooching old folk with neither kith or kin.
He has the wife at home making dinners for elderly rustics and the eldest lassie tearing down with them on the bike.

We’ll done BTW, she’ll appreciate the call. Do it again too.
