Can anyone recall what happened the council proposalnin Dublin to change Orwell road to Ukraine road?

We’re back, baby.

I got the graveyard shift netball run last night. Who t f thought that 7pm on a Sunday night in reddish was a good idea for a netball match every week, anyhow.
Didsbury won 14-12, had a player sent off, another player officially warned, and had one of the bramhall parents march onto the pitch before the last quarter to complain about roughhousing. In a non-contact sport :joy:
The laois of the netball world only they actually won.

Fuck um

The Division 1 meeting of Armagh and Galway is one of three Allianz Football League games that will clash directly with the Ireland v England Six Nations Rugby game on Saturday evening.

The game at the BOX-IT Athletic Grounds, along with the Carlow v Sligo and Waterford v London fixtures in Division 4, will throw-in at 5pm, the exact same time as Ireland will seek to win only their fourth-ever Gram Slam at the Aviva Stadium. The Armagh v Galway tie was originally scheduled for 2pm, but was switched to accommodate live TV coverage.

Needless to say, many supporters aren’t happy with the clash which will undoubtedly have an impact on attendances at the Allianz League games. The Division 3 game between Tipperary and Offaly in Thurles was originally fixed for 6pm, but has now been brought forward to 2pm, but the clash of Fermanagh and Westmeath in the same division in Ederney stays at 6pm.

They love a good clash with other major sporting events at the BOX-IT Athletic Grounds.

Armagh v Donegal in the 1988 Ulster Football Championship clashed with Ireland v England in Stuttgart.

Armagh v Down in the 2011 Ulster Football Championship clashed with the Barcelona v Manchester United Champions League final.

Armagh v Tyrone in the 2017 Most Reverend Dr. Patrick McKenna Bank Of Ireland Cup clashed with the World Professional Darts championship Round of 16 clash between Martin “Wolfie” Adams and Scotty “2 Hotty” Waites.

If gate receipts didn’t take a hit for those three, they’ll not be taking a hit by clashing with the rugby on Saturday.
