Things that continue to be right…or things that float your 🐐

Also, I got home this afternoon. My oul fella is due a fairly major heart procedure on Tuesday le cunamh De. The sister was laughing saying he watched the u20 rugby semi final having recorded it (he always does this with matches, then watches them after the dinner). Apparently he got so anxious in the first half he got palpitations, so had to fast forward to the end and see the result before he could watch the second half. :slightly_smiling_face:

He’s in good spirits. He told me not to book to see mission impossible until Friday as he wants to go. Given he’ll still be in ICU on Thursday, I’d say it’s unlikely, but we travel with hope.
The cardiologist actually said that the risk is all loaded into the 24 hours post op. If he’s ok Thursday we should be good to go :+1:

I’ve only ever put one person on ignore during my time on here.

That arsehole from the North with all the different aliases.

My mother’s understanding of licensing laws. Asked me to pick up a bottle of cider for a ham she’s cooking as I was passing town. Said to chance Lidl or Aldi. I explained that, as it was half ten on Sunday morning, they wouldn’t sell it to me.

“But if you explained to them that it’s for a ham and you weren’t going to drink it, maybe they would” was what I got back.

That’s seventy seconds of my life I’ll never get back ever again.

I wasted that 70 seconds two months ago when that video first appeared. And another 15 seconds today to realise it was the exact same video doing the rounds.

Ah that’s top class. Surely a local shop might fire out a handy flagon for a ham if they knew ye?
