Got a hearing aid today that connects to my phone via Bluetooth. Change settings on it for when I’m out walking/in a restaurant or busy indoor area/general sound. Also has GPS on it if I lose it, can pick it up on the app. Technology is mad.

The fathers hearing aid is the same. When he first got it, we thought he was starting to lose it, he would randomly start talking to himself (we don’t hear the incoming call). We used to it now though and can recognise when he’s on a call.

Takes a while to get used to, Audiology doctor said 6 to 8 weeks. Mad difference already after a day!

I would have always thought it was a pub near you that you frequent. I’m almost sure you could pass a pub to get to your local.
