Out for a run around the local park earlier and there was a game of ball on amongst 20 odd lads living locally of Indian, Pakistani and Nepalese descent. A few of the towns older generation out walking dogs had stopped to chat and watch and cheer on for any goals scored or saves made etc. All good natured and nice to see. At a time with so much negativity on people who’ve come into Ireland it was a nice reminder that there’s plenty of positive integration stories despite what the Ireland is full brigade try to pedal at us.

Out of her hands or on the ground?

Not of hurling stock, but of better sporting pedigree.

Better pedigree all round I’d say.

I’ve 12 years olds in my group who would struggle with this

We play the long game.

That’s a metaphor. Not a tactic.
