“Meanwhile, the Irish Times reports that the wind turbine blades will be recycled by Armagh-based Plaswire and transformed into products used in construction boards, panels, fencing, walkways and kerbs.
Specialist materials business Plaswire recently developed a system for converting the fibreglass blades into a product called RX Polymer, which can be used in construction, the Irish Times reports.”

Will it make a difference to the price people pay for lecky?
It’s Armagh mate. It’ll end up in a hole beside some suspected tout.
Don’t be facetious.
Did you mean to say " more of a difference"
Any difference?
Yes. Wind generation already makes a difference to prices
What year will this be passed on to the consumer?
Its already passed on
The boys that done my bathroom used some sort of a new type of plaster board. It looked fibreglass based. Strong. Put it on the floor and the walls. Left it out in the rain over night. No bother.
I suspect it was recycled fibreglass from turbines.
Rubbish. Ireland has seen a slight decrease from peak crisis prices but prices remain way higher than they were pre crisis. Very little has been passed on to the consumer… the crisis was used as a way to gouge and keep prices high and these alternative lecky methods make no difference.
The climate bros passing down our necks and telling us it’s raining.
yes, they mix it with heavy water from Fukushima, ignore the glow.
There was funny writing on it alright.
What has your post got to do with how renewables affect the price of electricity
They dont affect the price of energy for the consumer. At all.
Ok mate
