It’s absolute fucking madness. You can just chance your arm bringing any old shit into the court and there’s almost always zero consequences for the plaintiff regardless of how thin or fraudulent their case is. Ah well worth a shot, shur I’ll try again in a few months. They have to do something about it.

Cost being awarded against the plaintiff is about all they can do, a prosecution for fraud would be a harsher rebuke for the fuckers and i include the solicitor in that…

Yeah it’s all they can do under current legislation but change the fucking legislation. It is literally fraud in some cases and absolutely frivolous cases in others. But at the very least they should be awarding costs against where possible, at least make people think twice before bringing this shit before the courts.

In the meantime start seriously naming and shaming the solicitors involved. They’re far to keen to make out that they’re not driving this on. Would be interesting to see if there’s w pattern of the same solicitors coming with exaggerated/frivolous claims

Generally if you lose a claim costs are awarded against you.
However if you have no money and no assets then you don’t care.
My 3 year old broke his first window with a sliotar yesterday. A wonderful milestone. He’ll be hurling senior for Fingal before he’s 20 at this rate.

I spotted that the other day and meant to nominate Mr. Justice Gerald Keys for the alright sort of the year. He had a cracking double that day in Ennis court fucking out the bollocks with the football wheeze and the fabricated accident.
