Things that continue to be right…or things that float your 🐐

That’s your slant on it.

The end of that yarn is a massive let down.

O’Nara?

Pints on St Stephens Night with the auld lad (hat tip @Declan_Moffat )

Meeting up with a good pal who got engaged over Christmas.

The parents (who are knocking on their 70’s) still insisting on collecting you - a grown man - from the pub on St Stephens night. “You could get hit by a car on the five minute walk home” despite no cars ever being on the road at that hour.

Fuck it. It’s the small things in life.

You sure it wasn’t Yellowstone?

Like a roundstone cowboy…

Are you confident you weren’t watching an episode of Trigger happy TV?

Really disappointed that the jap girl and deaf person didn’t uncover some ancient form of Connemara communication to converse and ignored you from their conversation for the first 5 mins.

You robbed my obvious joke and got ten likes.
It is morally wrong.

This isn’t Hollywood, it’s real life.

Did the mother have the Man United pyjamas nicely warmed up for you from the hot press?

I’d say the mammy knows that all the young fellas are into rugby these days and it was the brave and faithful pjs that were being ironed

Sadly not.

Not even the electric blanket left on these days when I visit. All about the grand kids with her now.

‘Twas the Paul O Connell pyjamas. Superman has a pair as well.

An old school English football atmosphere on a Sunday lunchtime, complete with potentially leg-breaking tackles.

I have lined up a lovely few days for myself to ease the January blues.

Working from home today and will try and deal with my potential rat. *

Gym session tomorrow then Kids GAA training Saturday morning with younger lad. Off to Galway then with the missus for Saturday night, will pop into folks en route and back Sunday afternoon to watch Liverpool - Man City before bringing the older lad to his first stand up comedy show on Sunday evening.

Gym, GAA, fathering, parents, romance, Liverpool and comedy all ticked off.

Going to make time to do more of this stuff this year - nothing is guaranteed.

*best laid plans etc but adaption and flexibility is key
