Things that make you realise you are getting old

Im gonna need some mushies to even try to digest that.

Lassie I vaguely know got engaged. Standard response in this scenario used to be “Who is the lucky fella”. Thankfully I bit my tongue and said “that’s great news.”

And what happened then?

Is it that she’s a lesbian?

It’s that I don’t know one way or the other any more and shouldn’t make assumptions

A+ in They/Them diplomacy.

I’ve felt a bit of sadness since coming out of Thurles on Sunday when overhearing lads saying that the Clonmel Commercials senior team which is backboned by the Tipperary Minor winning team of 2011 are now more or less done competing at Munster Club level now.

I then hear that Sean Cavanagh is calling for Tyrone to cut loose the 2015 All Ireland U21 winners from their panel and start again with young lads.

Who was he saying that to?

I dont know. I just saw it somewhere.

Sure pal :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

He was interviewed by Joe.ie this week for the pod. But I can’t bring myself to listen to the fawning shite that does be going on with Joe

He’s been doing the rounds. I’d say he’s insufferable

When you complain about the lateness of 8pm kick offs.

A bunch that will be 31 next year. The team is surely done now. Last year was their chance. NCW should have then taken it.

You’d never know, they could easily nick a Munster next year or year after. It’s not like there’s a rising star side coming in Munster like Glen in Ulster.

Limerick, Clare and Waterford’s champions are never at the level of CC bar maybe Eire Og or NCW on their day.

As for Cork and Kerry, there’s never a dominant side who you would say should easily dispatch of Commercials.

When you realise Paul McGrath turns 65 this year
