Ardmore

Great spot. Full of jellyfish last time I was there though
There are a couple of nice ones before that too but you’d need to know your way around to find them. Places like Ballymacart.
We were brought to Annstown for the same reason, that and it was a Protestant town. We’d stop for ice creams in Portlaw on the way home, a Quaker town
It would be a long owl spin for me just for a go in the chairoplanes.
A buddy of mine is taking down his bungee trampolines for the weekends.
There is a new Vietnamese fast food joint in the town. I was in there on Thursday. It was very nice. I had rice noodles with barbecue chicken and a bao bun with pork. The staff are lovely and keen to explain what the food is. It’s called Bun Cha.
We ate in there recently,
I had a superb Pho with rare beef, the others had a mix of bao buns filled with barbecued meats and really excellent spring rolls
We were hoping to eat in Burrzza but it wasn’t open at lunchtime
What’s the difference in a bao and a blaa?
A bao is a steamed bun.
A blaa is the highpoint in the evolution of baked foodstuffs.
Don’t think I mentioned at the time, we got fabulous biryani and curry from a small food truck style place (more a couple of shipping containers) out the Tramore road, really nice
I was impressed with Waterford, very much a city on the up IMO
Seen that place. It’s new, behind what used to be the pub known as Katie Reillys Kitchen. Must check it out.
Def leppard played the half way house: a comeback gig.

Gorgeous scenery cc @Fagan_ODowd
Had the chicken biryani from this lad tonight. It was savage.
That at the old half way house site?
I’d know it as Katie Reillys Kitchen but I guess it’s the same place.
Andhra Spice it’s called.
