I only heard that connection about a year ago. Was disgusted. Thankfully the lidl deluxe range is every bit as good soup wise. They’ve a lovely Sri Lankan chicken at the moment

There appears to be a very weird level of deference to the Allens in Irish media and hospitality circles. Certainly compared to the way yer man the artist O Searcaigh was strung up by the court of public opinion.
