Apparently long term use of Ballymaloe relish makes your teeth resemble an old protestant graveyard.

Thereā€™s at least one sick cunt in that family clearly, like everybody I assume itā€™s the old lad, Tim is the name I think.
@flattythehurdler, you seem to know a lot about PR, can you explain how you think this rumour might have been put out by the Allens, do you think they had a big family meeting and all the men agreed to put themselves forward as possible suspects, as I said I find this a baffling chain of events, rather than have one confirmed nonce in the family a PR company would rather that everybody knew there was one nonce in the family but we had to guess which one it is, either way thereā€™s a nonce.
Iā€™ve asked before but you havenā€™t responded, how does this help?

A fine Laois beauty.

Iā€™m not sure how a smart guy like you is having trouble with this - they have created (or have tried to create) plausible deniability for the nonce in question. The rumours that it could have been some rogue member of staff and then other cloudy insinuations it was done to protect another family member creates a situation where there is doubt and deniability for each person in question.

What is it you donā€™t understand about that proposition?

The ā€˜rumourā€™ was that he was covering for another family member, generally believed to be Rachelā€™s husband. The staff member but never circulated.
The difficulty I have is why the men in the family, particularly the husband of the future of the franchise would agree to allow this to follow them around, thereā€™s a nonce in the family either way

As Iā€™ve just said and flatty has been describing, it creates a situation in the court of public opinion where there is doubt and plausible deniability attached to each of them.

You seem to be saying, well thatā€™s a shit strategy, one of them is still a nonce - fine, but that doesnā€™t detract from the point that they ā€œappearā€ to have pursued said strategy.

I donā€™t think it was a strategy, it was an urban myth style rumour.
I think itā€™s ridiculous that the innocent men would agree to walk around with that cloud over them, and I fail to see what it does for the Ballymaloe brand as thereā€™s still association with a nonce

An urban myth they appear to have propogated.

Weā€™ve reached the end of this - you do understand whatā€™s being proposed here, you just think itā€™s a stupid strategy/theory, that they didnā€™t pursue it that way, others have a different opinion.

This is not a proper sentence.

As I understand it one of the Allens (Rachel?) appeared on national radio actually blamed it on a staff member. However I just heard that on TFK.

If thatā€™s true, that she appeared on radio to pin the whole thing on her staff, that seems to me fairly open and shut, sinister and reprehensible behaviour.

Correct. She claimed the public had access to the computer.

But why do you say this? Iā€™ve never heard that said before it was mentioned here, now it is fact?

Do you have a link for this?
