Those of dubious character

I thought kdb put in a huge shift, he fought for everything. Madrid had 11 camped in their own box for 119 minutes so Iā€™m not sure Haaland or any striker would do much in those circumstances.

Foden and Bernado were poor last night ā€¦ Grealish to an extent too.

Embarassing for Guardiola. Big striker up front and rather than throw in a few crosses to mix things up he was afraid of his shite getting caught on the break so spent 120 minutes fannying about around the 18 yard line.

The Haaland thing is just an ego trip. Heā€™s useless.

He got no service. Be different if he was missing chances. He spent the night in around the penalty spot waiting for crosses that never came. Guardiola roaring in disbelief when Akanji had the temerity to take a shot on rather than giving another 5 yard pass. Ancellotti lets his front lads do whatever they want.

Grealish is some fraud. Hopping about on one foot with the ball trapped under the other, waiting for a tackle that never comes before sqaring the ball twenty yards from goal.
I think guardiola is just hypnotised by the alice band and the bob haircut.

I never got the hype about him.

I actually think itā€™s an ego thing with pep. Sign players who arenā€™t his style and try and change them.

KDB was bolloxed by the end, that challenge he put in on Carvahal was the sign he was done. Saying that Iā€™d have left him out there for the penalties, but City have a shocking record with penalty takers anyway. Prior to Haaland the record was dreadful, Mahrez was the taker but even his numbers were dreadful.

Surprised Rodri didnt take one. Edersons was excellent, heā€™s a great bit of stuff. Cole woulda perobably taken one had he been out there youā€™d have felt.

You wonder did Pep go for the win bringing on the fresh legs rather than sit back for the penalties.

Shane Oā€™Donnell is a fraud. He cuts in front on the defenders forcing them to unavoidably trip him. Always gets a free. Looks bad. Lawlor got a yellow and then couldnā€™t tackle him again. Then the same happens to R.Reid out on the wing. Hard to defend when youā€™re on a yellow.

Iā€™m happy enough with the Clare win bar that guy. How the refs havenā€™t copped onto him I donā€™t know. Itā€™s so obvious. Heā€™d put Neymar to shame.

Thatā€™s a refereeing issue but a Shane Oā€™Donnell issue.

Same with Adam Hogan.

TJ Reid.

Mickey Butler.

All buying frees.

Itā€™s hard to watch. But the refs are fierce gullible.

Thatā€™s a fair nasty post, are you a Kilkenny man?

Rory Oā€™Connor basically won a penalty Leinster final 2019 with the same thinking. Like you said, itā€™s up to the referee.

I am.

That time he got concussion I think it was from diving on the ground.

Both Tony Kelly and shane o Donnell receive some of the oddest criticism. For two lads who were child superstars theyā€™ve had some career for the last 12 or 13 years.

Iā€™ve never came across shane o Donnell I donā€™t think but Tony Kelly is sound and completely inoffensive too.

I never quite figured it out why they get such cutting analysis.

Tony is a grand fellow Iā€™d say.

Oā€™Donnell wants to be an astronaut, but I canā€™t see the zero gravity up there suiting him.

A friend of mine worked with Shane during his PhD. Apparently heā€™s very nice and unassuming.

Comes across as an awful nice chap. The sort of lad an Irish mother would like to see her daughter going out with.
