Shane O’Donnell is a fraud. He cuts in front on the defenders forcing them to unavoidably trip him. Always gets a free. Looks bad. Lawlor got a yellow and then couldn’t tackle him again. Then the same happens to R.Reid out on the wing. Hard to defend when you’re on a yellow.

Any decent coach will encourage attackers to cut across a pursueing defenders path. Forces the defender to either slow down or trip the attacker. It is perfectly legal. O Donnell is a savage player. Brave as a lion, selfless and goes for the jugular every time. I think Kilkenny would win an all ireland if they had him.

The defender can slow down. He doesn’t have to trip him. This is just clever attacking play. I can’t understand you thinking it’s some sort of cheating. Maybe the defender should just get out in front?
