True blood is back on Monday to blow this shit out of the water.
Vampires are so 2008.
Finally got round to watching the last episode this morning. Not as bad as some made out, it was always going to be more about setting the stage for next season rather than a cliff hanger, the books also ended that way.
The tv show has now surpassed where I was in the books and I doubt i’ll get round to reading any of them in the near future but from what i’ve been told the plot lines expand even more, so it will be interesting to see how they keep it from a constange montage of characters rather than a proper story, maybe more episodes ?
More episodes or maybe more departure from the books too. The last two books especially overlap in the time period they are covering and focus on different characters for about half a book each so there is even more fragmentation there. Again the last two didn’t move on the overall plot a huge amount at all so that’s going to be a big problem for the show. I imagine things are set up very nicely for some shit to finally start going down in the next book, but considering he’s taking about 5 years a book and the second last one hasn’t gotten a release date yet then it seems likely the tv show is going to overtake the final book…
How very apt.
Run!!
Hell Yeah!!!
I’ve bought a new wizard staff for this year…
Eh… It’s 2014 lads…
Haha. The wizard and goblin loving freaks have properly mugged themselves off here.

Good news for fans of Games Of Thrones as Sunday 6th April 2014 was confirmed as the start date of the show’s much-anticipated Season 4 by HBO.
Game of Thrones wrapped its third run in June 2013 with near-record ratings of 5.4 million viewers and, although an air date hasn’t been released for Irish viewers just yet, we imagine that Sky customers will only have to wait a few days at most before they’re (legally) allowed to watch the latest adventures.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the fourth season of Game of Thrones will pick up where the last began, finishing up its adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s A Storm of Swords – the third of seven planned books in the series’ source material.
In the meantime though, why not get your head stuck into the books again which, don’t forget, you can very handily bookmark to highlight all of the horrific deaths throughout the entire saga.
You sick basta*ds.
I’ve the whole outfit, mate…
