A wonderful scene, full of merriment and ribaldry.
BLISS pure bliss!
I’m not sure about audio…but LOTR is one of the greatest books ever written, pal.
I watched this massacre at the weekend, with about 8 beers and half a bottle of red on me. I am quite traumatised by it.
I’ll be starting Season 4 tonight.
This is one of the greatest TV shows I’ve ever watched. It is utterly compelling.
What scene was that pal? If it’s the one I’m thinking of, my reaction went something like: “FUUUUUUUUCK!”
The Red Wedding mate.
And who are you, the proud lord said,
that I must bow so low?
Only a cat of a different coat,
that’s all the truth I know.
In a coat of gold or a coat of red,
a lion still has claws,
And mine are long and sharp, my lord,
as long and sharp as yours.
And so he spoke, and so he spoke,
that lord of Castamere,
But now the rains weep o’er his hall,
with no one there to hear.
Yes now the rains weep o’er his hall,
with not a soul to hear.
The Red Wedding mate.
Yup - that’s the one alright. Horrific.
Started Season 5 last night, I’ll be up todate after this season right?
It’s unrael, unbelievable. Though some of the more supernatural stuff is beginning to worry me, I’m more interested in the believable intrigue, sex and murder. Lord Varys is a character I particularly enjoy.
The dwarf is the man!
He’s not a dwarf, he’s an imp.
Fitzy. There’s no supernatural stuff. It’s a historical based drama. The greatest TV show of all time
(Season5, Ep 3) The Daenerys storyline is getting rather boring now. I’d say that Sansa Stark is going to have a big say in the ending of all of this, revenge seems to be the only thing that’s keeping her going with John Boy aiding and abetting her. Christ, but there’s some fantastic characters in this show and the interplay between them is fascinating.
Right so, I’m all caught up, just finished Season 5, Ep 10 at the weekend - holy shit. Will Season 6 be the end of this? I can’t wait for the final denouement of this show. I still think Sansa Stark is going to be the ultimate victor in all of this.
It truly is a remarkable show, the Bunclody connection of course just makes it better.
its the greatest TV show ever made
This is a very good point and well made.
Personally, I’d go with Edge of Darkness, The World at War and Hall’s Pictorial Weekly mate, but it’s certainly up there.
