for simpletons, yes
Two more seasons I think?
Fat useless bastard won’t have the book out before the new series. Presumably the final book won’t be out until about two years after the final series (unless he’s working on the two as one book broken into two).
Two series left @fitzy.
That date makes no sense mate. This is obviously a hoax.
Really? I find that amazing and if so, there will be an awful lot of padding out. We want answers and we want them now. I would have thought one more series will do it.
There’s two books and so two series left.
There’s a proposal to split the last book into two series, that way the final book will at least be out before the series finale. The tv writers are resisting this but given the popularity of the show they might try get another series out of it. There’s been some divergence in storylines in the books and tv series so far but the overall story arc won’t change much.
Presumably the next book/series will wrap up smaller plot lines and set up the grand finale between whoever in the last book.
He will never finish the books, it will be some HBO appointed ghost writer. He supposedly has less than 500 pages written which also happens to be the amount of pages chopped off the last book so that it had a logical end, even if it lacks the conclusion it was supposed to have. A couple of battles or something.
Mugging all you fantasy nerds off in style.
A replacement will probably do a better job. It really invigorated the Wheel of Time series. Thanks for the reassurance pal.
GOT is bigger than any one man
just treated myself to one of these babies
would you be a Stark man Ironmoth?
I fully expect to see that filled to the brim with the finest British milk and taking pride of place in your photos in the Ravenous thread. It’ll become part of TFK lore, just like your plate.
Ned Stark was some operator. Very hard done by, but displayed courage and honour right the way through. A lot to admire there.
he got royally fucked over though, he got mugged off
That was the point when I knew that George R. R. Martin was a complete cunt, and that I’d faithfully watch GOT forever more. That and regular scenes such as this (spoiler alert if you haven’t seen Season 4):
