They had just given him a redeeming moment as well. I had heard there was a blatant disregard for characters from people who’d read the books but I never saw something like that happening to Jamie. No one’s safe it seems.
I’m enjoying the series though I’m sure it would have a much bigger impact of you hadn’t read the books, such as with the end I the episode last night. I wonder would it be more watchable if they stuck a bit longer with each little story instead of jumping about so fast.
There’s too many stories going on at once, with that in mind why they felt the need to have the young lad getting his “reward” taking up ten minutes seemed rather wasteful.
Its almost as though they will try anything to get Tyrion on screen as he’s the most popular character, even if its not necessary. Last week we had the pointless scene between him and his whore discussing Sansa.
It goes without saying that Khalessi has known all along what yer man has been saying, without the need for a translator. Her story is actaully the most gripping this season, I can’t wait to see the Unsullied in action, I just assume she’ll close the deal and have the Dragon and the boyos unleash hell on yer man.
Good ending though, didn’t see it coming. Have only read the first 2 books. The ending last night wouldn’t have shocked if I had known about it in advance.
Im about level with the Tv series and trhe books. the books style is exactly the same as the TV series, flitting from one story to antoher which can be quite frustrating as I couldnt care less about some characters and wshat happens to them whereas others keep you enthralled,
“We’re going to need details, copious details”
While I agree they are shoehorning in more of Tyrion I am all for that, far better that that some of the other endless shit they could have put in.

Tyrion is the best tv character around right now!
I agree, however it works a little better with the books I think. A tv episode is more instant and I think they might do better to expand one or two stories a bit more per episode and then catch up with other stories next episode, catching just snatches of each is a little unsatisfying.
WTB, you better believe it, no one is safe!
Guess he wing be the hand of the King now?
I knew the scene tonight with Daenerys was coming but it was still class.
You could see it coming a mile away but it was brilliant alright. Good episode all round. They did a solid job of keeping all the storylines ticking over.
Cracking episode tonight, you really wanted to see the next one straight away!
Looking forward to Dany invading Westeros next episode now.
There’s a lot of world of warcraft users on this thread I’d say
You’re kidding right?
I was more into Starcraft Massey.
ChocolateMice this may be of interest. Fancy dress welcome according to posters I’ve seen around the place. You can crash on my couch if you want to save a few bob although I won’t be going to the table quiz.

Scariest post of the year alert.
It is terrifying to think that adults will be going to that event alright but who am I to judge.
I shall be in attendance with my Orc costume.
