Who is the bigger GAA county?
As a neutral, I’d say Clare
no self respecting Clare person would even enter into this discussion, topic closed
Holy shit what a self clamping :o
In my living memory, give or take 25 years or so, Clare win this hands down
3 senior All Irelands
4 Under 21 All Irelands
1 minor All Ireland
1 Intermediate All Ireland and a Junior All Ireland
That is before we go into club and provincial titles. I think Limerick have 3 under 21s and an intermediate. In the same time frame.
10 to 4 by my count. 8 to 3 if lads want to disregard the junior/inter titles

@balbec could you fill us in on what the answer is for our limerick counterparts?
why not who are ye only rughby yahoos
Limerick by a distance
Very ambiguous question.
Clare are the more succesful hurling county of late, no doubt, and kudos to them for that.
Limerick have been far more succesful at football over the same period.
Not sure regards our respective handball and rounders records.
Historically Limerick are by far the more successful of the two counties.
“Big” wise Limerick would have a larger fan base.
Limerick is a far bigger GAA county.
Sure Cusack Park was half empty for your first championship game after winning the All-Ireland.
Although I will concede Clare probably do far better in ScĂłr

I would question as to how Limerick have been far more successful at football unless you are using morale victories as a barometer. Clare have won a Munster title in the last 25 years which is far more success Tha the Limerick senior footballers have had in the last 100 years
both rugby counties
Throw up a comparison of what rounds each has been eliminated in over the last 20 years there and we’ll have a look

I can only speak for myself.
Serious question, if given the choice would John Galvin rather his collection of near misses and morale victories or one Munster football medal?
If you think getting a round or two further in the qualifiers is being far more successful then it sums up just how little success ye had

You’d be the first one in here belittling our Munster Hurling win in 2013.
Munster hurling and football are completely different. Aside from Clares win in 92 you would probably have to go back to before WWII to the last time Kerry or Cork didn’t win it

Whereas Limerick can fill the GG with absolute wankers who couldnt find 2 separate GAA grounds in county limerick.
There are some of them even posting on here. Not GAA people im afraid, just pricks clinging to the latest event.
