Drom win the Cahill Cup most years so would fancy them in the Mid.
Nenagh would probably win the North if they bothered, but they wont. Kildangan and Toomevara wouldnât be far off.
After that I donât know.

Mid Championship fixed to start on September 27 without county players.
Assume all divisions will be the same.
Kiladangan are very strong. Two senior teams sure and lists of strong underage teams over the last number of years.
And an earlier finishing championship would suit them. They wouldâve beaten Borris on harder ground last year. In fact, even though itâs not entirely comparable, they did just that in the north final
Borris went through two periods of extra time and batshit amounts of injury time played the week before in the north semi final. I think it went on for two hours. I reckon that took a bit out of them for the final.
Very true, and not the stuff that history book records. The only way my belief will be justified is if Kiladangan go on to win it in September. A lot of pressure on them the longer they go without winning. They wonât want to turn into an eire og
Whatâs the story behind the Kiladangan/Kildangan name thing lads? How can they just forget how to spell/pronounce their clubâs name for years?
Thatâs it. I came to a head when Danny Grace wrote the club is history a few years back and spotted the almost thirty year mistake.
One year there was a programme printed with the crest of Kildangan in Kildare used.
Kildanganâs biggest problem will be finding their best 15 from all the players they have and maintaining a togetherness throughout the club.
They will end up with former underage county players not making their 2nd team.
former underage county players not making the 2nd team!??
Do you know anything about Kildanganâs depth in strength?
Ciaran Kelly didnât start the intermediate final last year and he was involved with the Tipp minors a few years ago.
With an absolute conveyor belt coming through, there will be more of this happening.
He was just back from a lengthy injury though.
Go away you clown, reason why Kildangan might not win Dan Breen is having too much talent.
Sometimes you are better off knowing your top 18 players if you can keep them fit, look at Borrisileigh and Ballyhale.
After their top 7 or 8 hurlers, Kildangan have another 30 or 35 similar type players. Trying to train with over 40 players on the field brings its own issues.
Thurles Sars have had similar problems in the last year or two.
Waffle.
Nothing got to do with the talent available, itâs being poorly coached & managed. Simple as that.
Kildangan have no real game changer up front. Loads have good hurlers but no outstanding hurlers like Brendan Maher for borris.
Is Kiladangan a big parish population wise ??
They had over 50 players togged out between senior and inter finals last year. Another bunch of last yearâs county minor finalists coming through this year to add to it.
Hard to manage/coach all that without causing friction somewhere along the way.
